Students can find help at The Youth Mental Health Project
Studies have determined that mental health programs for students in educational institutions are not as robust as they should be. Many educational institutions offer counseling and therapy as mental health projects for students but those treatments fall short in providing students with the substantive care they truly need. There are also some schools that provide the necessary services but are not efficient enough to provide adequate mental health projects for students . The sad fact is depression and loneliness among teenagers have increased significantly over the years, especially in the U.S. The current COVID pandemic will certainly add to the stress and anxiety of students who now must deal with remote learning, reduced access to school service and other abnormal circumstances that have been created by the virus
